Good but nothing special. Friendly and helpful staff! Festive atmosphere. Enchiladas Suizas were fresh but not flavorful. Refried beans were good. Like the chips and salsa but side of guacamole tasted ok but color was off. House Margaritas were large in tall glasses but too much orange flavor and water consistency and ok price at $10 for size. Still looking for a comparable place to Jose Tejas! Maybe someday.
Just had an amazing dinner at La Costa Mexican Cantina on Beach Blvd at San Pablo, and it did not disappoint. They start you off with free chips and salsa, and I paired that with a pitcher of their house margarita — amazing. For my main I got the Burrito La Costa: a flour tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken, carnitas, chorizo, rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, and pico de gallo, topped with cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. Absolutely delicious — honestly some of the best Mexican food I've had in Jacksonville. The decor is beautifully done, and the service was top notch. Our waitress Valeria was fantastic, and the manager Elio made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area — will definitely be back!
Great food, refreshing drinks, and excellent service! The crispy Chicharrones bites were delicious, and the mojito was fresh and perfectly made. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend La Costa Mexican Cantina. I’ll definitely be back! 🌮🍹
La Costa is a great local spot for delicious Mexican food and a fun, relaxed atmosphere! The wine selection is limited, but that is not really what you come to a Mexican restaurant for. The food, service, and overall experience were wonderful. I enjoyed a great dinner with Lesia and Dylan and would definitely recommend supporting this local business. As a Northeast Florida Realtor, I love discovering and sharing the places that make our community special! 🌮🍷🏡
Food was ok. Maybe ill try again and get something else. Price and service were good. Drinks were good.
