Terrible customer service. I had my car towed on 1/2/26 after it was overheating on the side of the road. I told Ken what I thought was potentially wrong and for him to look at the vehicle to be fixed, or if it was not fixable then I can have the vehicle removed. He could not look at the vehicle until 1/5/26 and first asked if it could stay where it was until then. My vehicle couldn’t so I had it towed. If he didn’t want to look at it, he could of said this from the beginning. I waited until 1/5/25 for him to tell me he opened the hood for 2 seconds and I “had a major engine issue” I already knew oil and coolant were mixing, but my engine has less than 100,000 on it, and my moms car had something similar and was fixed. He wasted an insurance tow for something he did not even properly look at. He is lazy and picks and chooses what he wants to fix. Avoid this place and terrible “owner”

I purchased a Toyota Pre- Runner 2000 from Family Kia (St Augustine)- left them a positive review. I was just about to edit that review. I believe it’s likely more worthwhile to give credit due- my truck runs reliably after service provided post purchase due to Mr.McGuire. I had not owned the used truck for an entire week before check engine alert. The dealer (rather than take a look themselves) sent me his direction. I’m aware “as is” -but not even 7 days from-a “family dealer”. All worth it in the end- You are much luckier to know the fixer than the seller, I guess! I also discovered a great seafood market (Kyle’s) with produce stand and bakery- right around the corner, I would not yet have known existed. All kinds of treasures around his neck of the woods - I’ll take it as a blessing in disguise! This was back in April- catching up on sending my Thank You note.

Maybe the last HONEST true AMERICAN mechanic here. Mr. Ken helped us immensely and fixed the car in no time and at a very good price. I would drive 4 hours back to get my car fixed again by him. Do not look further. This is THE mechanic you are looking for.
