What impressed us most was that the president of the company personally came out to troubleshoot the issue himself. After a thorough inspection, he determined the problem wasn't actually the roof at all — it turned out to be bad AC ducting causing condensation, not a leak. Instead of just taking the easy route (or the paycheck) and doing unnecessary roof work, he was upfront and honest about the real cause, even though it wasn't something they could bill for. And they didn't charge us a dime for his time or the diagnosis. That level of honesty and integrity is hard to find these days. It would've been easy for them to either miss the real issue or push unnecessary work, but instead they gave us an accurate diagnosis and pointed us in the right direction — for free. That's the kind of company you want handling your roof, because you know they'll tell you the truth even when it doesn't benefit them financially. Rob of K&D was on time and did an exhaustive roof inspection. He is a real professional as he was very thorough and shared his comments and opinion on my roof condition. K&D Roofing & Construction installed my roof in 2017 after Hurricane Irma caused considerable damage. I was completely satisfied at that time with both the installation and the cost. Last Sunday, nine years later, I noticed signs of a water leak in the ceiling of my breakfast area. Because of my previous positive experience with K&D, I called them yesterday to schedule a service appointment. Today, owner Rob Hile came out, assessed the damage with an IR moisture detector, and physically inspected the roof. He found a small impact hole—possibly from a bullet—directly above the interior water damage. He had the necessary repair materials on his truck and fixed the hole quickly. His service was prompt, thorough, and very reasonably priced. If you need a roof repair or full replacement, K&D Roofing has my highest recommendation.
