Great experience. Really like how you each get your own station. You are not crowded together like other places. You and your partner get to make each recipe after an informative demonstration. Staff is always nearby to help if needed.
My first cooking class ever! And it was wonderful spending it here. It's not the class I originally wanted to take because the Indian one was sold out but this was a unique experience. I stepped outside my comfort zone with how I prepared some of the food and tried arugula for the first time. We could add additional spices if wanted and the chefs were friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will be back because everything in my plate was amazing! Definitely worth the price!
My grandkids and I attended the Cake Baking and Decorating Start to Finish class at Jax Cooking Studio on Beach Boulevard yesterday, and we had an amazing time! The instructor was excellent—knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and made the class fun for everyone. The sous chefs were wonderful as well, always available to help and making sure each participant felt successful. The class was well organized, hands-on, and perfect for all skill levels. My grandkids had a blast learning new decorating techniques, and I enjoyed watching their creativity shine. We left with beautiful cakes, new skills, and special memories we’ll cherish. Thank you to the entire team at Jax Cooking Studio for such a fun and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this class and look forward to attending more classes in the future. I return😃
As someone who doesn't do a lot of cooking, I was a bit nervous going into this, but I had a great experience, and the Indian food came out very tasty. The only thing that was odd is that the instructions didn't quite match up with how the chef taught us beforehand, so I went off of memory rather than reference the instruction sheet. As someone with poor memory, that wasn't the easiest but thankfully my cooking neighbors were there to double check me. I'd definitely do another class there.
I took my wife for a birthday date. It was out of our box and a brand new experience. You view the studio calendar and pick a cooking topic that interests you. The event was well attended and managed, the staff professional. My wife and I had the Chef's Kitchen for Two, but it's not necessary if you wish to cook as a couple, you can do that in the studio. We learned new cooking techniques and tried new dishes. Overall, it was very enjoyable, and we will definitely do it again. The worst part was driving through JAX, which is never fun, but if you're from there you're used to it. Book a date and have fun.
