My experience didn’t start out as well as others, I felt my child was being left out and wasn’t getting the attention needed to succeed ; but it wasn’t that the parent and students has to be involved together. The school partner with the parents for your child’s success. When I got off my busy horse and became interested in my child’s education by talking to the teacher to find out the things that would help him in becoming a better reader and a student that get involved in class my child wouldn’t raise his hand for help when needed grades was low, I put him in outside therapy (occupational) the teacher organized a speech screening for my child she actually went a step further in knowing the struggle, my hats off to the JETS staff. Thanks for all you do, to God be the glory
I went to this school whenever I was in 6th grade up until I was half way done with my 8th grade year. I’m still in touch with a few students that go to this school and to see parents praising this school when it has no real benefits is sad. They’re behind on things that most schools have such as dual enrollment, that was recently added this year which is disappointing because it truly does help you. I’m glad I left this school and went to a different one, JXC claims to be “better” than public schools yet I’ve only gotten better with my studies since transferring to a public school. I’m a senior in high school with one class and I had the option to graduate early if I wanted to, that’s not an option at this school. I also have seen higher test scores since leaving JXC and I won’t ever forget whenever I was taking my math EOC, they didn’t have our logins and when they finally got them they told us all to just “guess” on a STATE test because we had only 15 minutes left which was THEIR fault. You’ll only be pleased if you’re a child is in elementary school, once things start getting real, you’ll understand
If you can get your students into this school, do it! They will get a full, traditional education. I can't say enough good things about this school. When kids are excited to get there and they are also getting a great education, you've won the education lottery!
This school and the curriculum used is phenomenal. My daughter started at the Kindergarten level and is now in third grade. I am continually impressed at the level of professionalism on every level, from the staff, to administration, to their teachers. She has developed into a very independent scholar, who performs at the highest level. They certainly hold all scholars to high expectations - as parents, we truly appreciate it.
Terrific experience for our children. Solid curriculum. Very thoughtful use of technology. No cell phones even in the upper school. Recess outside multiple times a day for the little ones. Teachers that are very engaged and an administration that’s accessible and listens. Couldn’t be happier.
