This is the most amazing restaurant in the world. I am very particular about food, but the meal here exceeded both my wife's expectations and my own. The steak was delicious—tender and flavorful. The crab cakes simply melted in our mouths. Our entire dining experience was a true delight. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Food was pretty good, wish prime rib was more moist and tender. Filet and grilled chicken was good. Prices a little on the expensive side. But overall enjoyed it. Service was good. Wish they would have brought some bread or something out to the table to start out with
We truly enjoyed our dinner and J Alexander’s. The atmosphere is modern, warm and cozy. The server was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer questions about the menu.She was also very friendly and checked in with us the perfect amount of times. The food…. was delicious. We ordered three entrees; the Mr Jack’s crispy chicken platter with mac n cheese and coleslaw, thai kai chicken salad and bbq babyback ribs. All the food was delicious and the portions were large. Everything we ate was amazing. The presentation of the plates were beautiful. We were too stuffed for dessert.
Solid restaurant and the price is decent. I absolutely love the Alex Salad, Mexico City Spinach con Queso, Steak Maiu, Crab Cakes, and Not Your Ordinary Mac & Cheese.
This is absolute perfection! This is heaven! I don't think many other restaurants in Jacksonville always have prime rib on the menu and so far J. Alexander by far has the best prime rib I've ever experienced. Besides the excellent prime rib the service is exceptional and I love the clean modern ambiance. The lighting is perfect, relaxing and romantic.
