You could tell he took detailed notes throughout all of our interactions, which tells you a lot about how much he genuinely cares about his clients. One of the biggest things that stood out to me is that Dewayne is not pushy at all. He explains what options are available, walks you through the pros and cons, shares what he would suggest, and then leaves the decision up to you. Through working with him, I ended up getting life and disability insurance so that if something were to happen to me, it wouldn't derail our long-term financial plans. And since my current employer doesn't offer a 401(k), I also set up a Roth IRA with him. He really knows the nuts and bolts of these policies and takes the time to explain what they actually mean for your situation. My job kept me really busy throughout this whole process, and Dewayne was great about texting and emailing me reminders so I didn't drop the ball.
