HWK originally installed our ac unit in 2012 for the previous homeowner. We thought it would be best to go with them since they are local and originally installed the unit. On the date of our inspection appointment, we get a call from a technician with a company called Air Duct Dryer & Chimney Services (or something similar, the guy spoke broken english) asking us to send him pictures of the unit and to tell him what is wrong so that he didnt have to come to the site and he could report to HWK. Essentially asking us to do his job as he didnt want to drive over 2 hours and wanted to "save gas money". Obviously, we were very confused as we didn't make an appointment with that company. Its become obvious that HWK do not perform their own inspections and sub it out to a company that puts the diagnosis on the homeowner. We went with another local company.
In addition to their expertise, the HVAC contractors were amiable and personable. They took the time to address all of my inquiries and make sure I was satisfied with the services I received.
Wes and his folks, primarily our tech David, are most professional and helpful. There is no waiting for parts and every effort is made to solve the problem that day, no matter what the rest of the schedule is like. They are a pleasure and we are lucky to have them!
