I’ve been going to Dr. Hudgins for just under 30 years. He and his staff are compassionate, knowledgeable and truly care about each and every patient. They listen and care about your overall well-being, not just your dental needs. The front office ladies are wonderful as well!!
I miss Dr. Hudgins. I can't recommend him highly enough. I knew he was absolutely wonderful when I was seeing him but after my last dentist I appreciate him even more. He's just not in network with my insurance. I'm considering going back to him anyway. He made me not scared of dentists anymore and I was so bad that when I was a kid my parents had to give me cough medicine when I got dental work done. My family and I went to Dr. Hudgins for years and his work was always good, I never had any trouble with it. His office does look more like a traditional dental office rather than the fancy high tech looking stuff that you see at some newer dentists. Maybe that's why he isn't overpriced. What you get with him is an experienced professional who knows his stuff and is just as painless as the fancy looking places and does a better job. The dentist I had after him has left me with a lot of pain and cost me more than I ever paid Dr. Hudgins even though they were in-network. The one bad review here must have been an outlier. People who have negative experiences are more likely to talk about it and if you're not farming your patients for good reviews (like the fancy high tech places) you won't have as many good reviews versus the special cases. Wade through the other dentist's farmed reviews and you'll find theirs. Dr. Hudgins did so much work for my family and I and it was all great and he taught me not to be scared of the dentist. He's wonderful!
Dr Hudgins is a great dentist along with his office staff. They are all caring individuals and really do a great job. Our family has been going to him for almost 20 years. I don't trust any other dentist.
I was 4 minutes late to my appointment for unavoidable and unforeseen circumstances. At one minute past my appointment time I received a very rude call from the front desk lady, I believe her name was Barbara. I let her know that I was 3 minutes away and apologized profusely. When I arrived, (again, 4 minutes late exactly) she was incredibly rude and unprofessional and reminded me that I was late 5 times before sending me back. Dr. Hudgins himself was personable and very informative and the hygienist who did my x Rays was very nice. I would probably consider going back if I weren’t treated so poorly and unprofessionally by Barb.
Great dentist and the best support staff! Dr. Hudgins and his team have been the go-to dentistry professionals for my family for over three decades. Highly recommend!
