Hopdoddy Burger Bar

Fries Fries were fries lol. They were pretty good, but I thought the portion size was a bit small for the price. Nothing too crazy to be craving but pretty good fries nonetheless. Mai Tai Drink was enjoyable with strong fruity flavor. My boyfriend quite liked it. The aftertaste was stronger than the initial sips but he quite enjoyed it. I was not the biggest fan of the drink however I still thought it was pretty good. Lollipop There was nothing surprising about the chicken but it was well fried and the flavor was nice. However, we thought that the sauce on the side felt runny, and watered down which we were not big fans off. Brazilian wagyu Burger It was an interesting flavor although I wasn't crazy about it. I am glad I tried it. I will say it felt too saucy to me which caused the bottom bun to be too soggy and hard to eat, very messy and the bottom bun was also falling apart due to this. My boyfriend thinks that it was very unique and he enjoyed the flavor but the flavor did not make up for the soggyness so he did not want too much of it. Farmhouse Burger My boyfriend thinks it was quite good with no complaints. I thought that it lacked depth of flavor and felt like it was a regular burger which disappointed knowing where we were and it was also expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. It is definitely worth a try although on the pricier side. We would definitely not be opposed to going back. They also had 2 housemade lemonade, the blackberry mint and ginger. Both lemonade were really good, and we enjoyed them quite a lot.

Upon arriving for lunch this place was packed, so I was expecting a bit of a wait, but nope the food came out super quick. I tried the Cadillac Wagyu burger and it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. Super juicy, tons of flavor, and the toppings all worked really well together. The parmesan truffle fries were crispy seasoned just right, and the tres leches shake was smooth and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. A great spot for sure!

Everything I ate was delicious and full of amazing flavor! The fries were awesome, and the service was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is that the gluten-free bun fell apart, which made it difficult to enjoy the burger as intended. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I’ll definitely be back!

First time visiting Hopdoddy Burger Bar in Jacksonville. The food is awesome, the atmosphere is vibrant, the service is friendly, and the beer is ICE cold!! This is an Austin-based fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in "consciously-crafted" burgers, hand-cut fries, and craft beers. Its name is a combination of "Hops" (for beer) and "Doddy" (a nickname for Black Angus cattle). My wife and I sat at the bar and had the classic burger with fries to share. Both were incredible!! Also tried the happy hour sliders that were outstanding as well.
