We are new to the area from NJ and had to seek emergency care and was unfamiliar with HCA. Being an RN who has worked in Emergency settings, I was very impressed with the facility and team members! It was immaculate and we had a ZERO wait time! All of my diagnostics and care was spot on and the nurses Aiden and Ashley were professional and engaging. I would highly recommend this facility to both locals and Out of Towners! Thank you All !
On sunday night I was washing dishes at my house and I sliced my finger open on a blender blade. This was around dinner time and I had to go to the emergency room.I thought I would be there all night long. This was not the case when I walked in.I had zero wait time. Adrian was waiting for me , took me back and got me registered. Nicole took my blood pressure. Both very polite and genuinely concerned. Doctor Swanson addressed my wound. He gave me a couple shots to numb my finger before he stitched me up. He made it as painless as possible and make sure I was comfortable. At the end, Adrian gave me all the necessary paperwork and at home care that was needed. I even received a follow-up call the next day, which is very unusual from an ER to make sure everything went good for the visit and that I was doing well after. I definitely liked that they didn't hassle you with paperwork when you walk in the door you can do it by your bedside or have someone do it for you by your bedside. My experience was one of the best that i've had in an emergency room and being in that situation
They took me back immediately! No wait !! LISTENED TO ME ! My BP was 178/104 ! I was in pain ! They got me stable & sent me downtown to HCA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL! Aiden was AMAZING ! Dr .King & I think her name was Nicole were amazing too. You don’t see this type of care down the street at UF HEALTH in Rivercity . They will give you a band aid … they gave me pain meds and lidocaine patches the week before plus additional visit . From here on out I will travel to Yulee if needed !! Thank you team !! Yall where great !!
I’ve never had a more chill experience at an ER. I had excruciating migraine. I expected to be waiting a long time, but instead walked in and was taken back to a room and helped immediately. The nurses and doctor were so nice and despite my terrible migraine, it was a rather relaxing experience, which is not something I ever thought I’d say about an ER.
Went in for severe ear pain and they got me in and out so quickly, and explained everything to me so well !!!! It was such a refreshing experience compared to other hospitals in my area. Well worth the drive from Camden county. Thank you Dr Marshall and Tish and the rest of the team!!!!!
