Havertys Furniture

Labor Day Monday, 09/07/2026, my wife and I visited the Haverty's in Orange Park, Florida and was cordially greeted by Mr. James Bailey. He appeared to be an incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and professional salesperson. Mr. Bailey answered all questions directly, demonstrating his ability to recall information on both the furniture pieces were looking at as well recommending others to fit our needs. What he could not answer, he quickly researched and provided answer and/or insight. He gave us the perfect amount of space to shop without hovering, no pressure sales pitch, yet stepped in with valuable assistance exactly when needed. My wife and I believe Haverty's is fortunate to have Mr. Bailey representing their company. I would recommend him and return again based on that performance!! We did indeed purchase the Devon 3 Sofa and anxiously awaiting delivery. It was a pleasure to provide feedback!! Enrique C.

My wife and I bought some furniture there. Including a very pricey couch. It sucks. Horrible. Handles are supported by cardboard. They have collapsed. The wooden furniture has some kind of coating and isn’t wood. It’s chipping and revealing a totally different color underneath with no pattern. They are just some complicated new age veneer. As time goes on I wouldn’t even be able to refinish the furniture. Once it’s scratched and chipped it’s trash. Maybe 5 years. There is furniture still looking good from 100 years ago. I would not recommend shopping here. They do a great job hiding the poor quality.

James Bailey was a phenomenal help in the purchase of our “dream library chair”. He showed us so many options, really listened to what we wanted and found the PERFECT chair. We love that you can order the fabric and color you want also. Thank you James for the amazing service. We felt like royalty. He needs a raise!

Tim did a great job of pointing out the sofas we were interested in and explained the details that went into the construction. He also explained the options for fabric and color if we wanted, which we did. Given the quality of the product and the price we didn’t bother to look elsewhere.
