BGV owner for over 20yrs, good to visit St Augustine from time time. Staff is friendly, property is beautiful. Lots of updates going on around the property.
Very nice rooms! Stayed in a 2 bedroom lock off with 2 1/2 bathrooms, 2 dining tables, 1 kitchen and 1 kitchenette, 2 living rooms and 2 screened porches. We were in Building 6, with a view of the golf course, next to the shuffleboard court, grills and a fire pit. Easy stroll to a beautiful pool. Pool table, IMAX theatre, pool cabanas - all on the premises. Easy self parking in a gated community. Very pleasant staff.
Checked in today. So far we've noted broken doors....one about to fall off the hinge, broken dresser, dirty table tops, scum in shower grout, grimey floors, big roaches, filthy drapes. I thought I'd puke cleaning the cracks of the kitchen table. Im scared to ask our guests next door what their room looks like. What, exactly, do our maint. fees go to every year? And these people want us to do an update? Hahahaha. Feeling more like contacting a lawyer. Update: Ms. Holestin, front desk mgr, moved us to a room that is MUCH CLEANER (still not perfect....long hair all over the floor) & in a better material condition. Thank you!
Stayed at this hotel, thru Bluegreen Vacations. Had a $100 fee hold, for possible incidentals, but was definitely Charged $100!! I was told my monies would be returned to my Visa, due to clerical input during check in. Called again, was told a refund would post to my Visa within 3 days! Still waiting!!! Calling the hotel itself, now being sent to Bluegreen Vacations customer service!! Definitely getting the runaround. No one had monies to GIVE away. STILL WAITING!!! BE CAREFUL!!
The Grande Villas at World Golf Village is one of our favorite Bluegreen properties! The resort is absolutely beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff here is always welcoming and goes above and beyond to make our stays enjoyable.
