I came early to ask for a tour of the building and I was not disappointed. I was received and welcomed from the start at 10am and got a full tour. The detail and collection is amazing. Debbie was awesome and full of knowledge. Jimmy at the the bar was awesome and friendly. Definitely a place to stop and take in southern history!
A truly unique atmosphere with a beyond extensive variety of beer. And for those that do not partake with beer, there are perfect options as well. I look over reviews (positive and negative) prior to determining my visit and I did not experience any negative issues. Tracy was taking care of my family and is an absolute gem. She is extremely knowledgeable of the venue and you can tell she takes the time and pride in her craft. Her and the staff were attentive and pleasurable. If you're in the area, this is a must see!
Hang out with Justin at the bar and you feel like you’re in a Mad Max movie. Justin can help you find a beer on tap based on your palate and recommended some amazing appetizers. The whole vibe is overall super cool, you can spend hours looking at all the fixtures! Definitely will be back!
Im actually really impressed by the taste & portion size. We ordered the reuben w/ chili cheese fries, shrimp dip, & kids corn dog meal. The reuben was very tasty but needed a lot more sauce because it was dry but otherwise perfect & filing. Chili cheese fries were served with ranch, which is a first for me but was soooo good. I'd definitely get those again. Shrimp dip w/Tortilla Chips was tasty but not worth $13. Corn dog meal was good, I dont think 1 corn dog & a hand full of fries is worth $9 for a kids meal. 1st impression was bad because it smelled like old dirty rags. Staff was very friendly.
Best time we’ve had in Jax! We’ve lived here for 1.5+ years and we just finally made it to this gem of a place. Tasia, our bartender, was ON IT! We tried different beers, got a tour of this crazy place (ask for the tour!) and made new friends. We had several beers and the onion petals, which were delicious. Easy laid back atmosphere with great service. We will be back for sure.
