  My husband initially worked with this agent to review our auto, home, and flood insurance policies, and he was able to find better rates, which I appreciated. However, there was a significant issue with our flood insurance policy. A new policy was written midterm with the same insurer, resulting in duplicate coverage, which means we've double paid for the policies. When he contacted this agent, he stated he would address with the insurer, but then never followed up. After not receiving any response from multiple communications via phone, email and text, he had to contact the insurance company directly, they confirmed that this should not have been done. He ultimately had to resolve the situation himself by canceling the new policy to receive a refund. What was most concerning was the lack of communication. He made multiple attempts to reach the agent via email, phone, and text over an extended period, with little to no response. Although he told me him he would look into the issue, there was no follow-through. Totally ghosted customer after receiving payment of policies. While the initial savings were helpful, the service breakdown and lack of responsiveness during a critical issue made this a frustrating experience. We would recommend confirming communication expectations upfront if you choose to work with this agent.
