Gili's Kitchen

Gili's Kitchen is an absolute gem and truly felt like a home away from home for our family. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. Tanya was the highlight of our experience. She is the most amazing, patient, and kind-hearted woman. She loved our kids, treated them with so much care, and made us all feel relaxed and happy. She was also super helpful and fast with taking our order and offering thoughtful suggestions that made everything even better. The food was incredible. Real, authentic Israeli Mediterranean flavors that took us straight back to the taste of home. Every single bite was delicious and comforting. We enjoyed the meat hummus which was creamy and flavorful, the lamb kebabs which were juicy and perfectly spiced, the baguette shawarma full of amazing textures and flavors, and the huge schnitzel which was crispy on the outside and tender inside. Make sure you ask for their spicy paste called schug on the side. It adds the perfect kick. They also have amazing desserts. We tried the babka and the brownies and both were delicious. They even have gluten-free dessert options which we really appreciated. One of the best parts is how much more there is on the menu. There are so many other dishes we are excited to try. We are already planning to come back to explore more. The prices are very fair, especially for the big portions and high quality of everything. This place has everything you could want. Delicious food, great service, a warm and family-friendly atmosphere, and a staff that truly cares. We highly recommend Gili's Kitchen and will definitely return again soon.

Every dish was delicious, in my opinion, cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly. The dishes were outstanding. The sandwiches were great, the pastrami, the burgers, the lamb, the Shawarma, the falafel’s, the hummus, the salads, the tofu…….all 10/10 rating in my opinion. Allow me please to tell you about this hidden gem of a restaurant in downtown Jacksonville. We've been wanting to visit for the longest and finally had the chance. There were so many options on the menu, but we had already made up our minds to try their sandwiches. Wife had roast beef and I had the Philly. She had sweet potatoes fries and I had regular fries. We even tried some Israeli juices and a malt. Non alcoholic. Since they had bottled Coke and I know most of them come from Mexico I ordered one for its unique flavor. The food came surprisingly fast and freshly made to order. Flavors did not disappoint. This place is an all Kosher restaurant and that's a plus for us as we stick to a mostly kosher diet and eat in accordance to it. Best Jewish restaurant i have ever been to in the 10 different states I've visited so far. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. They sure will see us more often. Can't wait to visit again.
