I was told to come here after Apple diagnostics sent me to this place. I walk in there and not only is the both the Best Buy counter staff and the geek staff rude, but then they want to charge me $675 to fix this phone. I go to a different store iPhone 911 and I get charged $20 to get something fixed, it only took 10 minutes to fix. The people a geek is like they want to order a whole new thing that cost $675. That wouldn’t need me to be there until the next day and even then it’ll probably take two or three days to put in. So no, I’m not going to geek squad. And I probably will never go to Best Buy if I can help it again. In fact, that whole store and the geek squad are just terrible, terrible terrible terrible people.
Brought my daughters car in to have front and back dash cam installed. When I spoke to the tech before installation, I told him it was important that they didn't run the wires across the air bags in the frame, but he didn't listen. The job was done shoty and they tried to cram all the extra wires into the roof instead of down at the firewall. When I confronted them about running wires across the Air bags and advising them this was a safety hazard, they didn't care and said they do it all the time. The manager "Ray" said their people were trained on this and sent to school to learn this. So I called The Toyota service department at Arlington Toyota just to verify and the tech said no you never run wires across the air bag. I have since received email from the camera kit manufacture that says you never do this as well. I told Ray I wanted to speak to his manager since no one wanted to refund my money, he said they were on medical leave (or something to that effect) and I asked who was above that and he said Corporate (which doesn't exist and has no email or phone number). I told him I wasn't signing for the work since it was exactly the opposite of what I asked them to do, and I would be reaching out to my lawyer about this. He asked me to step outside (not sure why) but I stepped out to call my lawyer. When I came inside I was just ready to leave. They make you prepay for the crappy work they do, so basically they have stole my money at this point. Ray says to wait, the installation manager is going to come talk to me. My Appointment was at 10:45 am at this point its 12:30 pm. they had me stand around in the garage for another 30 mins until I finally just gave up and left at 1 pm. No one was coming to talk to me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I now have to find a place to fix the crappy work they did and make my daughters car safe to drive. Thanks for not knowing your job. Attached is how it should have been ran. They Charged me $107 to screw up the installation.
They are great! They're friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful. I have a yearly contract with them that I have maintained for 5 years. It's a really great deal. They service my computer & I can call 24hrs 7 days a week if I run across any problems or questions. I highly recommend them.
Apple support made appointment with geek squad for my ipad just purchased, but when I got there Stated appointment was canceled 😱 But Best Buy service, had patience, respect for me as SENIOR, took care of my issues with iPad🫶🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
THE GEEK SQUAD AT THIS LOCATION IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Marcus has not only the most quality of knowledge for absolutely everything, but his service is unparalleled. I’ve spent probably weeks researching things to try to learn what to do if I had a computer problem, WITHIN 5 MINUTES THIS GUY HAD ME GOOD TO GO. On top of that, he went above board and even helped me with other aspects. PICK HIMMM
