Gateway Vision

As usual for over 5 years, a great annual vision checkup with Dr Popp. He's highly skilled, very thorough and personable .. never oversells your needs and has the latest equipment. Counsels on cataracts and T2 diabetes on eye health. Melanie, a tech, did a great job with my new eyewear order and fit. Reasonable prices, too. Highly recommend.

Yesterday was my first time at this office. Everyone was super friendly and talked with me not to me. I met with Dr. Grimshaw who was laid back, good humored, and took the time to teach me a little about the pictures they take of the back of my eyes. A local business with a no pressure attitude, top notch staff, and a wide selection of frames to choose from. Worth the drive from the west side! Thanks!

Today i dropped into to Gateway because my neighbor told me about it. I went to make an appointment because I have had an old contact stuck in my eye. I tried everything but could not get it out. Somehow dr popp managed to see me same day and helped tremendously. The eye feels so much better and he also gave me recommendations for two drops to buy to heal the eye . Great experience and so close.

I can’t say enough good things about this practice. I developed a serious eye infection and was extremely concerned about my vision. The doctor immediately recognized the urgency of the situation and went above and beyond to get me in to see a specialist on a Saturday. Because of their quick action and dedication, I was able to begin treatment right away. The level of care, professionalism, and genuine concern I received was exceptional. It’s rare to find a doctor who will go the extra mile for their patients, especially on a weekend. Their prompt response and coordination with the specialist made all the difference. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received and would recommend this practice to anyone looking for an optometrist who truly puts their patients first. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would—10 stars all the way!
