My wife and I recently purchased a home in Fernandina Beach and we knew we needed an old barn beam for a fireplace mantle. We searched around for a reputable reclaimed wood company and found G&H Reclaims near us in Callahan. We set up an appointment with Shari and were very impressed with her shop and selection of reclaimed wood. Everything from massive hand hewn beams to smaller planks used for shelves. We selected a beautiful beam for a mantle and a couple of planks for shelves. A couple of the guys in the shop helped load the beam in our SUV. We’re currently renovating our home and knew the fireplace mantle would be a great focal point. I made plans with Shari to have her team install our fireplace mantle. They came right on time and were very courteous and professional. They set up and within 30 minutes they were done. I think I saw the “world’s largest lag bolts” - needless to say, we have no concerns about the mantle install! What a nice group of people and easy to do business with! We are already thinking about our next project with G&H Reclaims. Highly recommended!
The best reclaim store I have ever been too! If you are looking for doors this is the place to go!!!
I have been working with Shari and her team regarding several custom projects in my home. She is very friendly and welcoming, and spent over an hour showing me different types of wood and options for my projects. She answered all my questions and helped me to understand the process and feel confident that they would be able to help me achieve the look I wanted. They have a beautiful selection of old, distressed wood and the craftsmanship to turn it into anything you would like. I am so glad an internet search led me to her shop!
I have worked with Shari and her team on several projects. They have built conference room and craft tables, mantles, and a number of different shelving units for my company and clients. They are very creative and professional. Beautiful craftsmanship and quality products. I can highly recommend G&H Reclaims.
I am an interior designer and have used G & H for quite a few projects. The quality of work is impeccable. Shari and the team there are very knowledgeable on what woods to use in different applications. Also, Shari has helped my custom designs come to life. I recommend them to everyone!
