Not good at all!! Do not waste your time or money on the Salmon Hibachi. Yuk!! Looks are deceiving. It taste like the ocean and not in a good way. The veggies are yuk seasoning. And the rice is flavorless. Yuk!
*Please read the low reviews before going.. I wish I would have* Ordered shrimp fried rice for $11 and some change. The menu said that a small shrimp fried rice was $8.99. When I asked the lady if she was charging me for a large she said no. Seems like these establishments are all trying to get a quick buck. Anyway, while the service was decent and the food was fresh, I didn’t enjoy it. The vegetables in the rice were way too crunchy. As if they were still raw plus it was way too many veggies.. It overpowered everything. I only go the shrimps that you see pictured on top.. Not worth it. Also the yum yum sauce was VERY watery and lacked taste.
Hidden gem in Arlington! My husband and I ate at Fuyiyama Japanese Sushi on Merrill Rd in Jacksonville, FL. We really enjoyed the food and the customer service is excellent. The food is delicious. We are planning to come back again and we really recommended if you haven't been here. Please give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Let me start off by saying, the customer service of this place is wonderful. The young lady that works the register is always so polite and hardworking. I also love that they represent Jesus Christ throughout the restaurant which is so rare to see but also so inspiring. However the taste of the food is not best, but it’s not awful either. I ordered clear soup and it was too salty, the tempura was all mush, and it had too many mushrooms in it. I also ordered the dancing dragon roll and it was good but the flavor was missing like it was bland. The shrimp sauce is a little watery and finally I ordered the holiday roll and it was fried too hard and barely had any krab meat in it. It was mostly cream cheese and even the cream cheese was bland. This food at this restaurant definitely has the potential to be good, they just need to get their seasoning portions right. Other than that this place is good for an average bite to eat. I’ve only tried their sushi and soup so far.
UPDATE!!!Came back and man!!!!The food is Sooooo yummy and Stephanie is very down to earth with a very beautiful family owned business!! They really know how to ROCK IT!!!! ————————————————————— Hands down the best Mom and pops place for sushi I have ever had in my life. I couldn’t even take a picture of the food before it was gone off the plates!!!! They were very good with taking care of our whole family. Thank you.
