We’re visiting from the UK and happened to come across this lovely cat café while staying in the area. We decided to visit and contribute towards the wonderful work being done for these cats. All the cats look healthy, happy and well cared for, and I genuinely think the owner is doing an amazing job. Many of these cats come from kill shelters and would otherwise have been euthanised if they hadn’t been rescued by Frisky Cats. What I particularly admire is that, while some people choose to rescue only expensive or sought-after pedigree breeds from kill shelters, the owner takes in cats of all backgrounds. Every cat deserves a chance at a loving home, regardless of its colour, breed or appearance. Keep up the fantastic work! I wish more people would adopt cats based on their personalities and the love they have to give, rather than their looks or breed. I would adopt one myself in a heartbeat if I didn’t live all the way over in the UK! 🇬🇧 Thank you for giving these beautiful cats a second chance at life. 🐈💕
Took about a million pictures I recommend getting the kitten room deal, they’re great (a little rambunctious but I don’t mind the scratches) most of the staff were friendly! although the place did smell a *little* gross it is a house full of cats! I thought the fact they had an elder munchkin cat was super cool, I sincerely hope she gets adopted- Super cute
Me, my sister and her partner all went to visit this cafe for the first time while traveling in FL, and it was wonderful! You could tell the staff really cared about their cats, as well as their health with sanitation at every cat corner, and simple rules. Extremely affordable, Coffee was great, and the macaroons were like no other~ we went over on our time a good bit accidentally but the staff were so polite and not overly strict at all! 10/10 first time experience!
I visited this café with my two- and four-year-old daughters. We were really looking forward to a sweet, fun experience since we all have experience with cats and know how to be very gentle and respectful around them. Unfortunately, all three of us were scratched to the point of bleeding during our visit. This was extremely concerning, especially because the café advertises that it is open to all ages. If the cats are reacting this way even with calm and gentle children I truly don’t think it should be marketed as appropriate for young kids. We were also told we could eat inside, so we purchased a cupcake. However, while we were eating, the cats naturally came near us, and the employee kept staring at us in a way that made us feel like we were doing something wrong. It was uncomfortable and awkward, especially since we were simply following the rules that had been explained to us. What stayed with me most was the emotional impact afterward. The week following our visit, my daughter drew a picture at school of her hand with blood and explained it was from a cat scratch at the café. That really showed me how much the experience affected her. I’d like to clarify that my children were supervised the entire time and were calm and gentle with the cats. They were not loud or rough as implied. My daughter was scratched and bleeding, which understandably made her cry, and we were asked to leave the room while she was upset. I was also scratched myself while trying to take a napkin away from a cat that was about to eat it. I respect the mission of rescuing cats and understand animals can be unpredictable. However, the café advertises that it is open to all ages, so I believe families should be aware that scratches can happen even during calm, supervised visits.
We had a purr-fect time at Frisky Cat Cafe! We visited with our family and were immediately welcomed by an incredibly friendly staff. The coffee was absolutely meow-velous and the perfect companion for an afternoon surrounded by feline friends. What impressed us most was how well the cats and kittens are cared for. You can tell this isn’t just a cat café—it’s a place where the animals’ well-being is the top purr-iority. The staff clearly has a genuine passion for helping these cats live their best nine lives while finding their forever homes. I completely fell in love with a cat named Capone. He definitely stole my heart and committed grand theft affection! If it weren’t for concerns about whether he’d get along with our dog, we would have taken him home in a heartbeat. Whether you’re looking for a great cup of coffee or a little feline-good therapy, Frisky Cat Cafe is the cat’s meow. We’ll be kitten ourselves if we don’t come back soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🐱☕️
