I stopped into Foxtail Coffee Co and had a great experience. I ordered a sandwich and hibiscus tea, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well made. The service was friendly and fast, which made it even better. It’s a perfect spot to grab a quick bite or relax with a drink. Definitely a 5-star visit. I’ll be back!
Ownership needs to be more present. This location lacks the oversight and consistency customers should be able to expect. We visit at least twice a week, and I have never seen anyone visibly supervising or guiding the team during our visits. It’s usually just one or two young employees managing the shop. They’re sweet, but the service is slow, disorganized, and inconsistent. From a customer’s perspective, they’re being left without enough support. A simple example: honey poured directly into an iced latte, where it sits at the bottom instead of being blended into the drink. I’m left trying to finish preparing something I already paid to have made properly. Basic preparation like this should be taught and checked. Having spent years leading and training teams in luxury hospitality, I know quality requires clear standards, coaching, and consistent oversight. I’m not seeing that here. We get more reliable experiences at Pour Mike’s, Blueberry Bakery & Cafe, and your other locations. This feedback is specifically about this shop. To the owner: your employees’ friendliness is carrying an experience that needs your attention. Be present, support your team, and hold this location to a consistent standard. We want to support your business, but you need to give us a reason to keep choosing it.
Have driven through this Foxtail several times before. The coffee is decent. But today i went in to relax and read. The ham cheese sub was crunchy at both ends and I ended up eating only a quarter of it. She didn't call out my name on my coffee and it ended up sitting there about 7 minutes before I got up to ask. That could have gone better. The environment is clean and in good shape but only has one person working and they were not busy inside at all (saw only three customers in one hours).
Andrew deserves a huge shoutout! He was running the entire Foxtail Coffee shop by himself on a busy Saturday morning and still provided great service with a positive attitude. Foxtail is lucky to have such a hardworking employee. I hope the company recognizes his dedication and compensates him accordingly. He shouldn’t have to handle a rush like that alone. This just shows how some employees are dedicated to their job regardless of the circumstances. Thanks for all your hard work and kindness Andrew!
I visited the Foxtail Coffee location in SilverLeaf around 2:00 PM on Tuesday, 9/29 and went through the drive-thru. My experience during this visit was extremely concerning. Before handing over my phone, I verbally told the employee that I wanted to use “Scan to Pay,” and I already had the correct screen open and ready for her to scan. She took my phone inside the store and, instead of scanning what I had selected, changed the selection on my phone to “Scan & Earn.” I did not ask her to change anything on my phone or give her permission to do so. Taking a customer’s personal phone inside and changing what they selected is inappropriate on its own. It also raises a sanitation concern. Employees handling customers’ personal phones and then continuing to handle food, drinks, equipment, or packaging without washing their hands creates an unnecessary hygiene issue. After changing the selection on my phone, she handed me the payment terminal to tap and pay and then quickly took it back. I immediately received the transaction notification on my phone and noticed I had been charged almost $2 more than expected. When I questioned the charge, the employee initially acted as though she didn’t know why the total was higher. Another employee then stepped in and said they could refund the transaction, remove the tip, and charge me again. That confirmed that a tip had been added to my transaction without my authorization or consent. Employees should NEVER be selecting their own tip on a customer’s transaction. The customer should be the only person deciding whether to tip and how much. The fact that this happened so casually makes me seriously concerned about whether other customers could be getting charged tips without noticing. I strongly recommend checking your receipt or transaction total when paying at this location. There was also an issue with the egg bites I ordered. They were packaged differently than I normally receive them, no fork was provided, and they were so hard that I could not even feed them to my 16-month-old. Between an employee changing selections on my personal phone, an unauthorized tip being added to my transaction, the sanitation concerns with handling customers’ phones, and the food quality, this visit was completely unacceptable. I will be escalating this incident further because adding a tip to a customer’s transaction without their authorization is a serious issue. I’m also leaving this review so other customers are aware and can pay close attention to their transactions at this location.
