UPDATE: I spoke with Flex’s team, specifically Stephanie, and I’m pleased to report we reached a great resolution. Stephanie listened carefully to my concerns, reviewed the incident details, and took clear steps to address the issues I encountered. The communication was responsive, the handling professional, and the outcome constructive, with practical guidance on preventing similar situations in the future. While my initial experience was challenging, Stephanie and the Flex’s proactive approach has restored my confidence in the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. I appreciate their effort and would consider doing business with Flex again under improved operating practices. I had a highly unpleasant experience with Flex. When I called to set up movers, the agent described the process and the protective measures they offer, such as TV boxes and secure furniture wrapping. They claimed that there had not been a claim for damages from a client in over a year. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with those assurances. The movers assigned to my job showed little regard for our items and did not handle them with care. I understand we were moving from a second-floor apartment, where the stairs can present challenges. My wife and I labeled all fragile items and communicated clearly to the movers. I observed one crew member moving three boxes on a single dolly while we were watching from a doorway. As they descended the stairs, I heard objects crashing and shattering. I stopped them and asked if they heard the glass breaking and urged them to proceed more carefully. They continued at the same pace with no noticeable improvement. Additionally, one of the movers engaged in an extreme verbal exchange with a colleague, which created a disruptive scene. An apartment manager was contacted to address the incident. The most concerning part occurred at the drop-off location. The crew scraped the driveway while backing the trailer, collided with walls and door frames, and caused visible damage. They broke a $300 dresser, rendering it unusable, and snapped two bookshelves. I filed a claim for the two damaged furniture pieces, but I received an email indicating that neither item was eligible for compensation. Overall, this has been the most unprofessional experience I have had with a business in a long time. I hope Flex takes these concerns seriously and addresses the issues to prevent future customers from facing similar problems.
I honestly cannot express enough how AWESOME the two gentlemen that came to move me are, Fidel and Luckman. They are efficient, thorough and fast. Very professional, and I'd recommend them all day everyday and twice on Sunday 😁.I just hope they are available when I have to move again. I'm very happy I stumbled upon this company. Great job for sure! And as far as getting things set up with the company, they were spot on. Very personable, professional, and made sure things were handled for me that I didn't have to worry. This is a really good company! 👍🏾👍🏾
THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! I truly wish I could give this company zero stars. From start to finish, this move was an absolute nightmare, filled with negligence, dishonesty, unauthorized charges, and complete lack of professionalism. Two movers arrived with NOTHING but bubble wrap. No blankets. No protective wrapping. No proper equipment. When I asked about it, they simply said, “This is what they gave us.” I paid for their “Gold Package”, which clearly includes wrapping and protection — yet nothing was wrapped. They charged me full price for services I NEVER received. Delivery was another disaster. I was promised next-day morning delivery. That changed to evening. Then to the following day. When they finally arrived and opened the truck, I was horrified. My belongings were sitting directly on the dirty truck floor, unsecured, unprotected, and clearly mishandled. To make matters worse, the movers sat outside for nearly 40 minutes doing nothing because they were “waiting for approval” — even though the delivery was already late and my belongings were already in their possession. One mover even admitted this is “common with Miami moves,” meaning they knowingly do this! Once inside, the damage became clear. Many of my items were chipped, scratched, and broken. I provided photo proof of everything, yet I was insultingly told I would receive only $40 for damages exceeding $2,000 plus . On top of that, they billed me additional unauthorized “overtime” charges despite the fact most of the delay was THEM on the phone with management regarding the issues THEY caused. Trying to reach management is impossible. No accountability. No resolution. No professionalism. I am still waiting on refunds for the package I paid for but never received, along with compensation for my damaged property. This company does not care about your belongings, your time, or basic integrity. They delivered the cheapest possible service while charging premium rates and then tried to brush off the damage like it was nothing. Use this company at your own risk — but if you value your belongings, sanity, and money, stay FAR away.
Moving is one of the most stressful things a person can go through, but Lewis and Karl from Flex Moving & Storage made my experience so much easier. They were truly out of this world. From the moment they arrived, they treated me with kindness, patience, and respect. They handled every piece of my furniture and belongings as if they were their own. You can tell they genuinely care about the people they help. What touched me the most was their honesty. One of my dressers got a very small chip, and instead of hoping I wouldn’t notice, Karl immediately showed me a picture and explained what happened. I told him it wasn’t a problem at all because my dresser is a few years old, but his honesty meant everything to me. That kind of integrity is hard to find these days, and I truly appreciated it. Lewis and Karl placed everything exactly where I wanted it without a single complaint. They stayed professional, careful, and positive the entire time. If you’re looking for movers you can trust with your home and your belongings, I wholeheartedly recommend Flex Moving & Storage. Lewis and Karl are the kind of people every company should be proud to have. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Your hard work, honesty, and compassion did not go unnoticed. Lerissa, Isaiah, Gael were my movers. Unfortunately half the team was nearly 2 hours late to move leaving only one guy to do most of the work for the first 2 hours. Then several pieces of my furniture were damaged along with a chip in the wall of my new apartment during the move.
