I ve been going there for. Over a year maybe 2. I've been fishing caught 2 flounder back to back. I ve seen way more fish caught out there. Chad one the owners took me out on the canoe for water tour. It was absolutely beautiful out there. It's a great place and great people. I will add some of photos soon.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Fish Island Marina. As soon as I hailed him, he caught me in a powerful current and had me safely secured in seconds in a ripping tide. The property is a wonderland of beautiful boats, cherished habd built homes, 50 years of anything you could ever possibly need to source and his readiness to help is unmatched. This business deserves glory and success. I sincerely hope it doesn't end up owned by some random RV park. Location is certainly important, but without a sincerely good Captain on the docks, it will be lost. 50 years of family blood, sweat and tears. If I had the money I'd hand it to him right now. Location means nothing without an honorable and good owner. You'll find success Capt. Shad. Once I'm in home port we will absolutely lead a small business, crowd funding.
This small house is the office and it was manufactured in Brazil and placed here. The marina is great.
I had a wonderful experience at Fish Island Marina. Shad is a true gentleman and a captain of top caliber. He was kind, helpful, resourceful, informative and really deserves good fortune. I truly hope he can keep the Marina in the family and carry on 50 years of absolute success. I salute you, Captain.
Listen this place could be a hidden gem if they would do a complete clean 🧼 up and put some 💡 lighting out, solar path way lights and a few over head lights would be great. Work on that!! Docks need hand rails and be more handicap accessible. The bathroom 🚽 is real clean 🧽 but needs the stairs attached back ⬆️ to it in the front a step stool is just no bueno 😫 If you clean it up and light it up they will come.
