Like many people, my childhood was marked by significant challenges. Over the years, I came to believe that much of that physical and emotional stress had become deeply embedded in my body—particularly within my fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports our muscles, organs, and joints. I lived with chronic neck and back pain for most of my life. Chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy provided temporary relief, but the pain always returned. They helped me manage my symptoms, but I continued searching for something that addressed the deeper source of the problem. That search led me to fascia therapy. After researching the approach and connecting with practitioners online, I found a local provider, Dr. Colt Andrea, and scheduled my first appointment. I was delighted to learn that he graduated from Life Chiropractic College—a school I knew well. Discovering that we shared a connection to Marietta, Georgia (and, of course, the famous Big Chicken!) immediately put me at ease and added a welcome touch of humor. What truly sets Colt apart is his unique approach to fascia therapy. Rather than focusing solely on tight muscles or physical tension, his work is centered on releasing emotions, stress, and energy that can become stored within the fascia. It is a thoughtful, whole-body approach that goes far beyond traditional massage, helping address underlying patterns instead of simply providing temporary relaxation. Today, at 64 years old, I can honestly say that for the first time in my life, I no longer live with neck or back pain. The results have been nothing short of life-changing. I never imagined I would know what it feels like to be pain-free, but thanks to Dr. Colt Andrea, I do. His innovative fascia therapy has transformed my quality of life, and I believe nearly everyone could benefit from experiencing this remarkable work for themselves. It feels absolutely wonderful.

My first experience visiting Dr. Colt today was truly just what my body needed. For years I had tried traditional chiropractors to try and reduce my hip and back pain, the dullness kept returning. Dr. Colts practice is more targeted towards soft tissue messaging with incorporated chiropractic techniques. I found First Coast Spine based on other reviews, and can say it is well worth the visit. Rachel was so helpful and kind getting my appointment set up. The office is relaxing and I left feeling so much built up tension released. Already rebooked 😊

Thoroughly disappointed. I’m new to Jacksonville and looking for a place that offered something a little different for ongoing hip pain. After seeing so many great reviews, I was really looking forward to giving this place a try. Unfortunately, getting in contact with the office was difficult, and when I finally did the interaction left a lot to be desired. The overall experience felt unwelcoming and made me feel like scheduling an appointment was more of an inconvenience than anything else. Needless to say, I won’t be booking here and will continue my search elsewhere. Definitely not worth the hassle.
