First Coast Psychiatric is amazing! The front office staff are kind, prompt at relaying messages, and quick to contact you back. The medical staff cares about the patient's well-being and actual life, as opposed to only their "conditions". And now, for the Belle of the Ball, Dr. Carla Schlenke. She is amazing! She is professional, kind, compassionate, and possesses an exquisite bedside manner. I have been a patient for going on 5 years, and have nothing but good things to say about this place. My life has sincerely improved since becoming a patient.

I have been seeing Dr Carla Schlenke since mid March of 2025. I have to say that she is the most observant, patient and professional person in her field of work. I have seen another one before her and unlike Dr Schlenke she didn’t discuss half the things me and Dr Schlenke have discussed and discovered in my sessions with Dr Schlenke. She is personable, remembers you individually and strategically addresses your personal issues. She has given me a whole handle on life now that I know how to deal with my issues. I am completely and whole heartedly grateful for Dr Carls Schlenke.

I just saw Dr. Carla Shlenke with my mother as the patient. My mom is a very anxious, stubborn and agoraphobic person. Carla treated her with extreme patience and kindness, she actually managed to make my mom feel comfortable and calm. Carla was very kind and respectful. Definitely will recommended to others.
