Feldman Auto Repair

This review is long overdue as Mark and his team have been working on and maintaining our vehicles for over two years. I have been extremely happy with Mark and his Team at Feldman Auto Repair. They work on 3 of our vehicles, a VW Golf, a Nissan Frontier, and my imported Japanese Honda Acty. They are truly top notch mechanics. Mark always takes the time and care to assess any issues, and sends me pictures, and recommendations. He and his team are friendly, honest, and treat our vehicles like their own. My wife had a few issues with her VW Golf right before a big trip and Mark told me to bring it in to view the codes. He told me that after reviewing the codes, that she could use her vehicle for the trip and just make sure we got it to him afterwards. That was a huge peace of mind for us. Also, I have been having many new issues arise with my imported KEI van, and he tackles every single issue. Mark even took the time to research hard to find aftermarket parts to repair the issue that has been a problem with the vehicle since I purchased it. Today it runs better than it did when I got it, and now I'm able to drive it everyday with confidence. Don't hesitate to take your vehicle to Feldman's, where you will be treated with care and respect.

10/10 I would highly recommend Feldman Auto Repair to strangers, friends, and family! I interacted with three different guys and all of them were treated me with respect. The entire experience showed me that this shop is knowledgeable, courteous, HONEST, well-priced, and fast! Obviously, I hope my car never needs another repair, but I live in the real world and know it's pretty much inevitable as things age and the odometer goes up. When the time comes for more work, I'm 100% going back to Feldman to get it done. MOST IMPRESSIVE: They estimated 4 hours for the work and exactly 4 hours later (to the very minute!!!) I got a call that my car was ready. The price estimate I got on the phone was exactly what I was told on the phone. VERY HONEST: I asked them to look into a secondary issue and it ended up being nothing. They had an opportunity to upsell or charge for unnecessary work. I wouldn't have known any better and probably would have just agreed to what was suggested, but they were honest and didn't try to pull one over on me. SUPER EASY: From scheduling the appointment to dropping off the car, from getting the diagnosis and estimate to checking out after the work was done, the entire process was stress free and simple. CUSTOMER SERVICE WIN: When I dropped the car off the night before, the guys were just closing up for the night. I didn't expect them to even acknowledge me - it was after 8:00PM! To my surprise, one of the mechanics walked over and started a conversation, asking me what was going on with the car and making sure I was good with the key drop procedure. I don't think he works with customers regularly, but the guy was very respectful and helpful, immediately making me feel confident that I'd picked the right shop.

I was traveling through from Kentucky when I had engine problems. My truck started shaking on acceleration and lights were blinking all over the dash. I took it to Feldman's gave him the run down and left. 2 days later I called for an update, and he told me he tried calling me the day before and my truck was fixed. He knew I was in a jam and immediately took my truck in. I was expecting a significant bill. When I picked it up, he said I had a broken spark plug and one of my sensors had a completely broken wire, which he fixed. He could have charged me for a ton of crap that he didn't even fix, but he was honest and charged me only for what was broke. I wish he was here in Kentucky, because I would trust him with the other 3 vehicles in my family. Phenomenal Service.

I had an outstanding experience with Mark, the owner of Feldman’s Auto Repair. He’s a top-notch mechanic who truly knows his craft. I brought in my 2022 Nissan Frontier for routine maintenance, including servicing the 9-speed transmission (which requires replacing the pan with a built-in filter), front and rear differential service, transfer case service, and an oil change. Anyone familiar with these 9-speed transmissions knows they can be a nightmare to work on, but Mark handled everything with skill and professionalism. I shopped around beforehand and got several quotes, and not only did he beat the competition, but he knocked it out of the park with both price and quality of work. What really stood out to me was his honesty. I had purchased the transmission fluid myself and had two full containers left over. Mark could have easily kept them, but he made sure I got them back without hesitation. That kind of integrity is rare. It’s not easy to find a mechanic who is honest, reliable, and genuinely looking out for their customers, but Mark checks all those boxes. This was an excellent experience, and I’ll definitely be returning for all my future service and repair needs.
