I had a wonderful experience at Fancy Sushi Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous and very satisfying. The restaurant was super clean, and the customer service was extremely good—everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I highly recommend Fancy Sushi Restaurant and will definitely be coming back!
This is the best sushi on the westside! Such a nice atmosphere, quiet or lively it's always a good vibe. The staff is super friendly and willing to accommodate requests as well as help out with the menu selections. The sushi is absolutely fresh and the hibachi is always flavorful, and hot. It's like they bring everything out immediately when it is done. Perfect place to eat when in a rush. You can't forget about the complimentary holiday roll either. Favorite place hands down!
Alright man listen...my fiance and I were confused on what to get for dinner. Finally settled on this place as the quality of our usual spot had gone down and the ratings here were high. We got the food via door dash. First thing I thought was "I can see the food is HOT and holy crap, that's a lot of food!" Then I took a bite... This food was bad. It's probably the worst hibachi I've had in my life and I feel bad saying it, but everything is overcooked. My fiance asked for med-rare steak. There's this aftertaste...like bad water and oil. I see pepper on my food, but I would not have known seasoning was attempted had I not noticed the black flakes because this food is exceptionally bland. It's so bland I thought I had COVID...but then I remembered I had some well seasoned grilled cheese about 3 hours ago. I don't know if people are reviewing the dining experience or what—but the FOOD? Lord have mercy. I am genuinely hoping to God I don't get sick because I'm going to be so mad if I do. And they were expensive??? 😭
My wife and I tried this place for the first time and were very impressed with the service, ambiance and quality of the food. We arrived there after the lunch rush and it was fine for us. The servers kept everything clean, including the restroom. We usually visit another great sushi restaurant on St. Johns Avenue in Jacksonville but now we know where to come that's real close to the Costco location on Parramore. Although it shares the driveway entrance to a super Walmart and Racetrac gas station, the access to the plaza where Fancy Sushi is located. I look forward to returning.
This place is my absolute comfort zone! Since moving to Jax, I’ve been coming here every time I shop at Walmart. The complimentary sushi rolls are amazing, the sushi is super fresh, and the hibachi portions are huge with soup or salad. The service is fantastic—such a small place, yet they always make sure you have everything you need. Love it! ❤️
