Wow! John is just a great guy who understands service and really knows how to cut hair, a consummate professional. I called him on a Saturday from our boat at the marina in Fernandina shortly before they closed for the day. He actually came and picked up my wife and I, brought us to his shop, gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years and drove us back to Fernandina. Wow! What can I say but Thanks John! 🙏
Stopped it while on an extended road trip with our RV. Received great service, great haircut, and great beard trim! Would highly recommend Family Styles for any haircut needs. Lisa was efficient, professional and has a great personality. I would definitely ask for her.
Had a GREAT haircut here! My hair is fine and straight and I wear it fairly short. Many hairdressers cannot cut it evenly. Janet did on my first visit and got the length just right!! I don't want a bunch of "pampering" - just a good cut. She did a wonderful job and I LOVED it. The pricing is a big plus. Thanks!
I got a great cut last year and was looking forward to the same this year. I live here part-time. I arrived late in the day. I wanted the same stylist from last year. She was not available. The younger stylist said she cuts hair the same way as the other stylist. That may or may not be true, but she was quite rude. Her people skills were poor. She asked me how short I wanted my hair cut. This is not a necessarily hard question to answer when you cut hair all day long. For me it was a struggle to say how many inches to cut with any certainty. Instead of showing some patience, she said she didn't want to end up doing 5 haircuts. This was rude and uncalled for. Things went downhill from there. I should have followed my real desire which was to have my hair cut on the following day by the other stylist who was professional. Live and learn. To the stylist, if you think this was all about me, I suggest you look at your part in this. You were rude as soon as I couldn't give you a clear answer. Regardless, I was the customer who paid you to help me. I look at this as a learning experience which is to trust my instincts more. From that standpoint, I am glad this happened. Wonder if you will learn anything from it? Kindness is always better than what you showed.
Love so many things about my experience: Jackie does a wonderful job. I show her a picture and... voila, I get it. Convenient location for those who live in the Island. Super Clean Best price for GREAT CUT for those on a budget All hair stylist there are super nice. Brittany is fun
