Emergency Care Center at UF Health Flagler Hospital

Taken by an ambulance for chest pain, waited 4 hours. Never had an IV, a scan, nothing. This hospital needs serious help! Left on my own after waiting for nothing!

I was briefly in Flagler Hospital Emg while in St. Augustine for the Christmas lights when I came down with a bout of vertigo. I have to say everyone was extremely nice and professional. Dr. Monroe was extremely kind, knowledgeable and reassuring and put me at ease quickly. Dr. Monroe took time explaining all the tests he would do to rule out different ailments and while my emergency visit was short I can not say enough about how well I was treated. Top Notch.. I wish I could remember the name of the young kid who took me for my CT, he was ever so kind and even came back to check on me. I’m tall and he’s not so we kidded about that. He reminded me of a young Tom Holland, but anyway if you see this thank you for your kindness young man. Thank you Dr. Monroe and staff at Flagler ER. You all were so friendly from the check in staff and triage techs, to the gentleman who briefly brought me back to my room from CT (I hope you got to go see the Christmas lights too). Luckily, it was not too serious and you had me feeling better so that I was able to enjoy the Christmas lights and the rest of my vacation with my family. Thank you!

Went to ER on a Sat night on a Holiday weekend via ambulance. I was assigned to an ER room and tended to promptly. ER was very busy with a waiting list. Took awhile to see a doctor (I guess that was expected seeing how busy they were) but nursing staff were great. Appropriate tests were run and I was discharged after proper medications and prescriptions were issued for the next morning. Pretty decent experience.

I’m so pleased with the service I received here❤️From start to finish I was treated with such respect. I can’t brag or thank everyone enough on the people that are here and the facility itself💯Thank yall for just being amazing❤️
