I visited this restaurant after reading so many great reviews, and they were absolutely right! The food was incredibly delicious, and everything we ordered, both the food and the drinks, was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent, and being able to personally greet the chef and compliment them on the amazing food was a wonderful bonus. Thank you for such a great experience! I will definitely be coming back, and next time I’ll be bringing my whole family!
I found out about El Flamboyan Kitchen from a random ad on Instagram. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t heard of or tried this place! I ordered takeout and omg the food is insanely delicious! Reminds me of all the food I ate at family functions as a child. Reminds me of the hands of my Puerto Rican mother and aunt. The flavors are so perfect! I’m at the point where I can’t breathe because I had to eat everything. Even the piña colada is a 10/10. I have tried several Puerto Rican restaurants in Jacksonville, but this is the best hands down! I can’t wait to go eat there in person! 😋
Spending quality time with friends and family is A+. We visited El Flamboyan Kitchen and immediately they welcomed us, hold the doors open, and even helped me guide my visually impaired friends find, and helped them sit at our table. Food was delicious, we had the Havana Plate (congri, slow cooked pork, Cuban Tamale and sweet plantains, Bistec Encebollado with arroz con gandules and maduros and Mofongo with Camarones al Ajillo. For drinks we ordered natural Passion Fruit Juice. Food portions were big. Ordered to-go the Chicken Sandwich,Tres Leches Cake and Coco/queso Flan for dessert. Service was 💯 outstanding. We definitely will be back.
I love trying new spots when Im in JAX. I love being able to feel like Im home by eating out and experiencing new PR restaurants. I have to say the place is small but mighty. The music was not too loud, the personnel was super friendly and the decor was on point. But the food that was the start of the show. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned except for the garlic mojo yuca. But I understand not everyone likes a ton of garlic in their food. We had the trifongo and it was amazing. The pork was also great. Overall a great experience I would definitely Go back. ❤️🇵🇷
We went for a quick dinner while being on the road, and we were extremely pleased with our experience! The food was amazing (shrimp rice and arroz con pollo with the red beans). Delicious! We were served by Aleyshka, who was very attentive, professional and friendly. A shame we live so far away, I would have come back for sure!
