Always loved the food and service here. Today though, it's Friday and BOGO "American Drafts". Got overcharged by Marsha as I ordered Wicked Weed made in the Carolinas, but evidently it's excluded. Guess I will just go to Roosters as their prices are lower. If you want to exclude Mexican beers and crafts, say so, but you clearly didn't here
This is a fun place to dine. I have been here twice in the last month. One time for wings and bingo. The next time, on a Tuesday for $5.00 1/4lb. Burgers-fresh, not frozen. I shared an order of fries. I love the seasoning they put on the fries. I Tuesday’s and Saturday they have bingo. The first couple of games are free and you can win gift cards for drinks, appetizers or other. Then they go with the paying bingo. I think I paid $5.00 per card(2 cards in one). The pit was almost a $1000.00! The entire place fills to capacity. Bar and restaurant is full! The wonderful and funny Manager-she calls the numbers. They also have a big screen to refer to, if you did not hear what she called. I did not win, but sure as Hell had a great time. They only have beer and wine, so I had a glass of wine. Wings were great. Second visit, the burgers were very good!
me and my gf have been to dicks a few times only because its 10 mins away and we have to constantly remind them about THERE OWN DRINK SPECIALS GOING ON!! so they don’t over charge us. My girlfriend went to go pay for the first time ever and they charged her more than double on drinks and their reasoning was “they forgot to take their MULTIPLE! $1.50 draft drinks specials signs down” just terrible service in total, i can see why the place is always empty lol.
We ordered 20 wings and fries. The wings were essentially plain. I ate 10 wings. When I finished, I had no sauce on my fingers. The wings were well cooked and could've been good if they bothered to put any sauce on them. I'm a person that doesn't enjoy my wings swimming in sauce, so this isn't a matter of opinion. There was barely any sauce on the wax paper underneath. We live about 10 minutes away, so it wasn't worth calling the store to be told to "come get some more sauce." For that same reason, I won't highlight the cold stale waffle fries that they charge a premium for. We don't order from or eat there often and I'm not sure we will again anytime soon.
The quesadilla with blackend chicken was pretty tasty. However, the older waitress featured on the website picture was so rude to me. Ill only go back if I order on line. She was so upset that I didn't know what protein I wanted. I never argue with people that serve me food. Here is a tip for you lady learn to be nice. I never once was rude to you or have someone else take the physical orders. Just note it was not even busy when I went in.
