We visited DeNucci’s today to get a treat. They did not disappoint. My Husband got 2 scoops of Chocolate ice cream. I ordered a Banana Split. It was delicious. My desert was way too much to eat in one serving. Three scoops of ice cream, chocolate, pineapple, cool whip, bananas and a cherry on top. The service was good. The staff were friendly. The decor is. Colorful and upbeat. Only a few tables inside, but there is outdoor seating and there is a drive thru. They do offer hotdogs and nachos. We will definitely be going back.
If you’re anywhere near Amelia Island, stopping at DeNucci’s Ice Cream is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is something special. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is incredibly friendly, and you can feel the pride they take in what they do. But let’s be honest, the real star here is the ice cream. Every scoop is ridiculously creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. Whether you go classic or try one of their more unique options, it tastes fresh and homemade in the best way possible. Portions are generous, you definitely get your money’s worth, and every bite somehow keeps getting better. What really stood out to me is how consistent everything is, from the texture to the flavor balance. It’s not just good ice cream, it’s the kind that makes you pause mid bite and go, “Okay… this is DIFFERENT.” Perfect spot after the beach, a dinner date, or just because you’re craving something sweet. 10/10, easily one of the best ice cream spots on Amelia Island.
We’re visiting Amelia Island for vacation and decided we wanted to find an ice cream parlor to cool down at after our trip to Fort Clinch State Park. We searched on google and came across a small, hole in the wall place called DeNucci’s. When we arrived, we were presented with many flavors. I ended up getting the Chocolate Fudge Brownie single scoop in a waffle cone and my girlfriend got a Strawberry single scoop in a waffle cone. They were extremely generous (as shown by the pictures) with the amount of ice cream and the total came out to just around $14 for the two items. I’m going to be completely honest, this was probably the best ice cream that I’ve ever had and the girlfriend said the same thing! They absolutely deserve the high ratings!
Rave! Excellent customer service, portions are generous, prices aren’t just fair but practically a steal! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, especially the outdoor window specifically for customers with Fluffy puppy fur babies ❤️ I everything was clean, delicious, and I’m totally satisfied! Way better than any chain I’ve ever been to! I ordered the Fat Turtle Sundae
This place is a must visit. Parking is a little limited, but they have a good amount of outdoor seating, very generous portions and friendly, efficient service. We sampled a few different flavors before deciding and everything was so delicious, including some good dairy free options. The dole whip is a must try.
