This was our first time here. It was easy to order. The coffee and soft drinks are located in the back, so you can get your own. The coffee was hot and good. The food was cooked quickly. It was very good. They made sure that our meal was cooked the way we wanted when it was brought out. They were very attentive. I highly recommend.
Pay before you order and get your own drink. Salad was going bad and they put it on the plate anyway. You don’t even get a separate plate for a side salad. The French dip sandwich which was on a flat roll and they put both red and white onions on it. If I didn’t know better I’d say they were on the brink of going out of business.
I would like to share Deerwood Bistro is a great place to come for breakfast or lunch. I have been coming here for the past 7 yrs and food and service has been consistent. It's locally owned and operated restaurant. I strongly recommend you try this place.
I have to admit, this place wasn't what I was expecting. After reading all the great reviews, I was anticipating a traditional sit-down restaurant with table service. Instead, we ordered at the register, were given a number, and got our own drinks. At first, it felt more like a fast-casual restaurant than the dining experience I had in mind. The décor also seemed a little dated, which added to that initial impression. That said, once my chicken salad sandwich arrived, my opinion completely changed. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made to order. Based on the setup and appearance, I was expecting something more prepackaged or ordinary, but the quality of the food was anything but. While the atmosphere and ordering process weren't what I expected, the freshness and taste of the food definitely won me over. If you're looking for great food and can overlook the casual service style, it's well worth a visit.
Enjoyable corner Bistro restaurant. Love the breakfast. Shrimp and Cheese grits were excellent along with the eggs and especially the grilled biscuits. Look forward to coming back.
