Beautiful paddle here today. About 3 miles round trip. Spotted 4 Otters, 12 different species of birds and one big ol' gator. The run was well maintained.
I learned how to kayak last year and this was the perfect place to learn. It's very quiet once you go around the bend, both in sound and in terms of busy-ness. I rarely see any other boaters out there. But there is so much to see in terms of plants and animals and birds! You will always see something every time you go. I can highly recommend Earth Kinship kayak tours for an excellent guided tour along this creek.
Was amazing. I kept going thinking there was a dead end but it was a surprise each time I realized it was an illusion. Really cool spot. Great kayaking... not so much for paddle boarding.
Limited parking no bathrooms but excellent place to get into waterway wilderness
Very nice kayaking trip. We traveled east and had to work around and under some trees but they added to the interest of the trip. Boat ramp can only be accessed from northbound lane.
