This location has ample parking, a nice bathroom, plenty of trees, a short foot path into a patch of forest, a beautiful picnic pavilion tucked away from the road and easy access to the rail trail. It's quite new and very well maintained. The picnic pavilion is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal in a beautiful spot!
Nice Trail Head. Had Bathrooms, Water Fountains, Pavilion down the Path, Tool Station, and Picnic Tables. Trail was Nice, Could use some Maintenance down Further, also had Ripples from Tree Roots.
Great trailhead for the Palatka to St. Augustine paved trail. Nice bathrooms, a drinking fountain, a pavilion with 2 picnic tables around the back side away from the parking area. And it even has a small boardwalk.
My husband and I rode a section of the Palatka to St. Augustine Trail today. We entered at the Cora C. Harrison Preserve Trailhead. This trailhead had a decent sized parking lot, and clean bathroom facilities. We rode northeast toward St. Augustine, and turned around at the point where you have to cross a 4 lane divided highway with no signal. It was a nice trail, sections in a nice shaded area, and other parts in full sun alongside roadways. We do plan to ride it again!
This park has plenty of parking, restrooms, a picnic area, and a short boardwalk. It's a great place to park to ride the trail as its roughly in the middle so it gives you options on how long you want to ride.
