Well staying in Jacksonville for wifes work Conference decided to walk around.And came across this deli . Walked in and was greeted by 2 guys , they reminded me of a new york style deli from the atmosphere to decor.They were really nice and took my order even made my Turkey sandwich the way i wanted it , the Greek Salad amazing too. Not many food options at our hotel and was glad i came across this spot, when we come back in june im definitely returning for some really good food. They are only open till 3pm each day. Serving both breakfast and lunch menus. If your in the Riverfront area check them out!
We left the hotel and needed to grab a bite to eat before heading to the airport. I did a quick Google Maps search for places that served breakfast. When I walked in, I saw them preparing a pastrami, egg and cheese bagel sandwich. It looked amazing. That is what we both ordered. I would never think to pair eggs and cheese on a bagel with pastrami, but it was miraculous. Unequivocally, the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I am craving it right now, and that was six days ago. The staff were super cool and the place was very clean.
Stopped by for lunch. Food was good. The corned beef on my Reuben was perfect, but I felt there was a little too much sauce. The potato salad was really good. My wife's Greek breakfast wrap was really good! Service was amazing.
A+ across the board here! I’m from New England originally and there’s some foods I just really miss. Pastrami sandwiches being one of them. So I read some reviews about D&G and decided to try it. As soon as I walked in I was transported back to RI and Massachusetts. It has that family owned feel inside and I could tell the food was going to be great. The owner is behind the grill and my husband and I ordered our sandwiches. Delicious is an understatement. The pastrami is so tender and flavorful. The bread is perfect. And even the French fries were delicious! When my husband got up to pay, we started talking to the owner. He clearly cares about his food and the way he prepares it. He has a huge menu that I need to get back to trying because there’s way more than just pastrami sandwiches here! So go here and support a great restaurant. We need more like this in Jacksonville. People who just know how to make authentic good food from scratch! No slop here!
Stopped by for lunch while working on AC at building nearby, food was absolutely amazing and it came out very quickly. Fresh too, I watched the guy through the party on the grille. The brioche bun for the hamburger?!?!!! SO GOOD. My only gripe is that the French fries they had 2-3 years ago were waaaay better lol
