Went during a busy time. Everything was good! Got the Tiff tenders and Bayou broccoli for appetizers. The eggplant pasta for the entree. Server Holly and was great and the bar service and drinks were good too. Don’t have pics of those - they were gone fast. Tried the Mac and cheese (not southern) and the mashed sweet potatoes were our favorite!
The moment you walk in, the atmosphere was dim, homey and inviting. The hostess was friendly and seated us quickly. Our waitor Jeremiah was very nice and helpful, he gave us recommendations and pointed us in the right direction when it came to the appetizers and drinks. Everything tasted really good, and was nicely presented on the plates. The chicken tenders were just okay, and they weren't very crispy unfortunately. And though the biscuits were delicious, they had no structural integrity once you picked them up/bite into them. Overall, we enjoyed our time dining here and will come again for brunch.
Was looking forward to a great birthday meal. 1st the crawfish bread came out pretty. But was cold in the middle we didn't send it back cause. You just don't. Both pasta dishes were very disappointing, we both kept waiting for Wow! And it never came. It was so bland even in all that sauce. I don't understand how you mess up pasta, tasted like the water wasn't even salted. The burger was good she ate it all. The brownie tasted like a box mix, the bread pudding was to thick. Needed a bread consistency like brioche bread. And the drinks well ok. Last well to much money for the quality.
Enjoyed everything during our dinner. Hubby got red beans and rice with extra andouille. I had the shrimp and crawfish etouffee. Huge portions (at very reasonable prices) and excellent service. The patio was quiet and comfortable. You HAVE TO save room for dessert. Cheesecake with blueberry crumble was amazing. Hubby asked for extra rum sauce for his bread pudding because it was so good. We’ll definitely be returning.
Hunter was very nice! Such professional service. He really sets a great example. I really enjoyed my food. So delicious & flavourful. 1st time for me ever being there always wanted to try for many years.
