We traveled in for the competition and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everything felt organized, and it was exciting watching the skaters compete and receive their awards. ⛸️🏅 Definitely a great facility for figure skating competitions!
always so pleasant here. clean and staff is very nice. if you're a community first bank member you also get some percentage off! ;) it only costs me $9 to skate for 2 hours and I love that. I love spending my time here
I guess when you're the ONLY option for ice skating you don't have to worry about things like a consistent schedule, a pro shop with set hours, or a helpful staff that knows anything about what's happening. The facility is nice though, as well as the staff, it's just that no one seems to know what's going on. The flyers they have our for events are a month + behind and they're still showing events for mother's day, on Father's day week. The website practically hides the calendar, nor has the hours for their pro shop. Good luck on accessing the pro shop, of all the times I've come, it's been open only once. What's the point?
Such an awesome place to hangout, play some games, and have a few drinks while you watch some hockey. Not to mention, the food and drinks were amazing along with the service! We will definitely be back and next time with all the kiddos! 😁
Mixed feelings about the rinks. The ice is decent for florida heat but the ice and facility is poorly managed. The normal person will have a hard time finding a time slot after working hours for months at a time. They allow everything to be reserved after 6pm so the vast majority of the community can't actually find times to enjoy open hockey or public skates especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Kids out of school for a holiday? Forget it the ice will be reserved. It's a real shame. The icemen make such a big deal at their games about the rink but the vast majority of people can't actually use it because it's taken up by leagues and figure skaters. They also don't know how to maintain the ice. Huge gouges and ruts in the ice. The ice gets soft because they have the ambient air too hot. Some days you will need a snorkel and scuba gear instead of ice skates. I would like to see better management and having it more accessible to the public. Especially since you're going to hype it up at the icemen games. You really should consider having both public skates and open hockey available on Friday or Saturday nights before 9:00pm so people can enjoy the ice.
