Coastal Traders Indonesian Imports, LLC. Shew, that’s a long name for such a cute store! Located on San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, this Florida-based store has THE most unique furniture and home decor merch. They have imported handcrafted items from Indonesia, like teakwood furniture, art, lamps, jewelry, and textiles. But they also sell pieces made by local artists. This isn’t stuff mass produced and bought from Temu. This is distinctive, statement art pieces, including items carved by hand and folk art. There’s a lot of beach themed art and mirrors with unusual framing. There’s definitely a coastal aesthetic going on but what coast? Could be the coast of Bali, or St. Augustine or any coast you feel in love with on a vacay. Our interactions with staff have always been pleasant. Prices aren’t cheap but you get a solid product. I plan to shop here anytime I’m in St. Augustine.
