Kind of a strange atmosphere. The people are wonderful there. Unless they're employed, they seem to be a little annoyed controlling They're all thumbs. The food tastes like hospital food better out of a can They got a cake job and whatever You should always honor your elders. Do you want to be wise?
Because of my monthly income, I qualified for Aging True grant of $3,500. I asked for a couple of outlets to be fixed, 5 steps on entry, and my shower to be fixed so that I may be able to use, which I had never been able to use. I was told that a 10 year experienced person would come and fix. I was so elated, I cried. He arrived at 11:44am. The first thing he said as he was coming in was, "The steps are not in the budget". He asks me to show him where were outlets to fix, and my shower. He procedes to take photos. After about 5 minutes, or less, he leaves and comes back at about 3:50pm. Starts working on outlets with his assistant. Then goes into the MB shower. Tells me he would have to fill shower basin with cement, I was much surprised, and said, "If there is no other way, and that is what needs to be done, then be it". He proceeded to make a hole in my toilet stall wall, and found a 3x4 on his way. Could not do what he wanted, so he covered the hole. Scolded his assistant to hurry up and stop taking his time that the end result did not matter as long as he finished it. I furnished them with drinks, which the assistant was grateful for, and repeated. I was Never told where the water valves were, thou I asked over three times. When assistant finished with shower floor, he showed me how the shower now worked. I was so happy I had tears. I thanked them, and they left after 6pm. The next day I went outside, and saw he never placed skirt, which he had torn like a madman, back where he tore them from. Mind you, when I saw how he was tearing them I thought he was going to replace them. I was left with quite a mess, and a week I could barely move from the pain of gathering the skirt panes. I am 100% disabled with no monetary benefits. I also saw that he did not cover my water heater after he took cover off. He also discarded a piece of round cement in my yard. Also, once summer was over, I discovered that the hot water valve was Never connected, so I am not able to use the shower. Yes, I called to inform of findings, and was told worker was very much trusted.

Friendly, informative, and supportive. They have adult daycare on site, and transportation services. Community activity services are free, for those who are residents within their service area, or who meet income requirements. Weekdays meals are provided for those who sign up by their deadline. Silver Sneakers normally have two classes per week, Zumba Gold exercise classes, Bingo, etc. Facility is modern and well maintained with a lending library, game room, media room, and large dining facility.
Lots of activities, great lunches and the only thing that costs money is $1.00 for four (4) Bingo cards. They do have a resale shop.
