Absolutely phenomenal experience with Clay Humane Society! They got our girl in within hours, kept us updated every step of the way, and everyone was incredibly kind and caring. The gentleman who initially took her back, weighed her and helped with her testing was especially sweet with her. They even worked with our budget to make sure she got the care she needed, and she was able to have surgery just two days later. Ten days later, the cone is OFF and she’s doing amazing! ❤️ I’m adding a picture of her today because it says it all. We are so grateful for the wonderful care she received and would recommend Clay Humane Society to anyone!
Such an awesome facility. They took such good care of my sweet Barbara! Conner was our tech for the day and he was an absolute doll! He was so great with our puppy, very fun and friendly. He was also a total gentleman and helped me out to my car because I had a baby and my puppy, so my hands were a little full. I was in and out fairly quickly with little damage to the checkbook. 10/10 absolutely amazing staff, and my Barbara girl thought the same. 😊
The Clay County Humane Society actually cares about your pets! I've had a couple emergencies over the years and every time they were able to fit me into their already busy schedule and have total transparency with the cost of services (which is a lot cheaper than most of the other vets btw). The staff and doctors are very friendly and informative on your treatment plan for your pet and I am so grateful for care they've given to my fur babies! 🥰🫶❤️
THEY TOOK GREAT CARE OF SHPOOPY! My cat Oreo (or Shpoopy/S’more) needed to be neutered, as she was having behavioral/territorial issues and would have cycles which caused her to be quite moody. The great team at this humane society took fantastic care of my cat. She is now resting happily under my watchful eye. Also, I showed up WAY too early but they were still kind enough to assist me with pickup and had us good to go in minutes. Very considerate. If your pet needs care, it’s worth the wait. And, they are kind when it comes to pricing. 5 stars, would come again 😁
Very busy and loud, which is overwhelming for an ADHD individual, such as myself. I didn't feel the staff were all that friendly (which I was glad to scurry out of there ASAP) but I don't think that staff came off unapproachable either
