I’ve been a loyal customer of Tidbits since the days I worked downtown and went to their OG location, and I’ve always loved their chicken salad. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been disappointing. On my last two orders, the portions of chicken salad have been noticeably smaller. During today’s visit, my pita barely had any chicken salad in it, I tasted mostly the pita. The same thing happened on my previous visit, but I brushed it off as a one-time issue. After experiencing it again, it seems to be a pattern. I also ordered a gluten-free option for a family member and received only a very small cup of chicken salad nowhere near enough to fill the pita, or even half of it. At around $15 per meal, I expect a portion that actually fills the sandwich and delivers the quality I’ve come to expect from Tidbits. It’s disappointing to have such a different experience now compared to what kept me coming back for years. I hope this feedback is helpful to others considering them for lunch, but for now, I’ll need to look elsewhere for my chicken salad.
Was decent. Broccoli cheddar soup was skimped on the broccoli. Sandwich was good. Packaged chips were a little strange. I think they make them on site and were better than some store bought. Good, but probably won’t visit again.

One of our favorite lunch spots. Best chicken and potato salad .. truly fresh and so tasty. Counter service and sometimes there is a line but it moves quickly and there is still so much hospitality! They are so patient as you ask questions and will totally customize if they can. So much value too! Average seating space .. we never have an issue getting a table and a nice covered patio as well. Limeades with fresh limes or lemons for your brewed tea. Oh and the red velvet or lemon cake… yum yum!
I would definitely recommend this place. The food is made to order. The shrimp salad on a pita was really good. The chicken and sausage gumbo was surprisingly delicious. The tuna melt on an onion roll was good. The New Orleans po boy was also amazing. Overall great experience.
