My daughter was looking for coffee and we decided to give this a try. She was blown away by what she got! The roast of the beans with the flavors added, made each drink superior! So much that she went back for seconds but the second time got decaf lol The whole venue was beautiful, when we entered we walked passed the wines that were beautifully displayed along the wall. There was a bar that offered alcoholic beverages. I do not drink alcohol, and was delighted to have a non-alcoholic slushie which was perfect for the hot day! The store offered a variety of merchandise as well as other items like candles. The staff was sooooo kind and helpful when asking about different drink options. The menu was clear so you knew what you were getting eith each order! They also offered a nice variety of snacks that looked absolutely amazing! My daughter said whatever secret they are adding to their coffee they need to keep doing!
This was such a cute and cozy coffee shop, with a wonderful view of the Castillo de San Marcos monument out of the front window! They have a decent menu, though a little on the expensive side. It was $14 for a coffee with a biscotti cookie. I ordered the Graveyard Shift latte, vanilla, hazelnut and Irish cream. It was pretty decent! My sister and her boyfriend ordered a vanilla and hazelnut latte and a vanilla frappe, and they both somehow tasted like peanut butter? Almost like a peanut butter cup? It was very odd... not bad, but not what they were expecting/wanting.
I visited City Perks with a group of close friends, and all five of us ended up loving it. I tried one of their spring specials, the Early Bird, an iced coffee with pistachio and sweet cream cold foam and it was delicious. The espresso was strong in the best way, and the flavors were really balanced. It was around $9-10, so probably not an everyday drink for me, but definitely something I'd get again when I'm in the area. I also tried their blueberry cheesecake, and wow... it tasted homemade, rich, and honestly amazing. It's dense, so three of us shared it and it was perfect. If you visit, I highly recommend trying one of their cheesecakes..they're worth it. Overall, super cute spot, great drinks, and even better desserts.
City Perks is hands down one of the best coffee shops around! The coffee is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the whole place has that perfect local coffee shop feel that makes you want to hang out for a while instead of just grabbing a cup and leaving. The staff is friendly, the service is great, and you can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. If you’re looking for great coffee, good vibes, and a place that feels like a hidden gem, City Perks is absolutely worth stopping at. We loved it and will definitely be back!
This was my second attempt to get a cappuccino at City Perks Coffee Co. I was hopeful, and while I ended up with more of a latte than a true cappuccino, I could tell the espresso itself has great potential. The balance wasn’t quite what I was looking for, but I’d be willing to try again because the quality is there. On the bright side, my wife loved her iced latte half sweet—it was smooth, well balanced, and exactly what she wanted. Tip for future customers: if you order an iced latte, ask for it half sweet. They normally put 4 pumps in a 16oz, but 2 pumps keeps it perfectly balanced.
