Chelsea's Bar & Grille

We were staying at the Embassy Suites and went downstairs to this restaurant that was onsite. I MUST say for a hotel restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress (I forgot to get her name. An African American Lady from NYC) was an ABSOLUTE dream to have. She was extremely professional, polite, friendly and proactive. The chef was on lunch and an assistant made my meal I was not happy with it and she took it back and the chef returned and remade my order and it was so worth the little wait. 10/10… The chef even came to our table to see if I was ok and if there was anything else he can do. Our food was delicious and the drinks were sooooooo good. I would defiantly return.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and wanted to try Chelsea's out. It's inside the Embassy Suites, which is beautiful hotel inside with expansive lobby area and this bar tucked into a corner. We left after one beer due to the very expensive menu for basic bar food and no working tap. The gentleman next to us left after getting clam chowder instead of crab bisque only to find out they were out of bisque; it was early in the evening...not a good start. Service was not good. We were also given someone else's tab of $40 when we only had 2 $5 bottles of beer. We got it straightened out but our server was frazzled 🫤 We walked on down to Chili's where we got draught and a reasonable priced menu with an awesome server.

Nice atmosphere, comfortable seating, nice and helpful staff, and clean restaurant. Great food. I had the Seared Jumbo Lump Crab Cake & Grilled Shrimp and the Chocolate Lava Cake for desert. While the desert was delicious I do wish the whipped cream where ice cream. Serving size for dinner was a bit smaller than I'm used to, but it was delicious.

Chef Tori and the restaurant manager Emma have created delicious daily specials. Last night we tried the apple pie bread pudding with white chocolate creme anglaise and tonight we had the deep fried Oreos and a red velvet martini. The Oreos reminded me of a summer at the fairgrounds, melting in my mouth. The birthday cake vodka was a great treat in my martini! Can’t wait to come back!
