Charleys Cheesesteaks

I walked in, I was the only customer. I walked to the ordering area. Spanish women looked up at me in the kitchen area and looked back down at her phone. I waited 45 seconds and all 3 women were on their phones. I called the store, the second it rang the Spanish lady told the girls to look at me. They came over. The wait was very minimal. I came back in and all 3 again were just staring at the phones. Absolutely no awareness of anything. Food, great. Cleanliness, great Customer service, terrible As for the Spanish lady, there was no reason for the nasty look and stare. I said thank you and you just mean mugged me and said nothing and walked away as if I wasn't there.

First time trying this establishment. I ordered through the drive thru. I had the Cheesesteak Combo which came with fries and a drink. The Cheesesteak was delicious, and the fries were hot and fresh. I also ordered a six piece Buffalo Wing which was delicious also. I ordered my food 30 minutes before closing, and was glad that everything was cooked to order. The service at the drive thru was good.

It was 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and I was the only one there the whole time while ordering and waiting for my food so I was worried it was a bad location but to my surprise the food was pretty good. Every bit as good as the one I regularly ate at on Federal hwy in Hollywood, FL. My only issue was the customer service. There was only one English speaking employee and the non-english speaking employees stand around staring at their phone, waiting to cook food and quite frankly made me feel as if I had inconvenienced them. The girl that took my order was very pleasant and cute but I waited 3 to 5 minutes for her to get to the register. I was up charged a dollar for ranch dressing and never received it.

I thought my experience was pretty good. I came in for an early afternoon lunch around 11 with my coworker. We've never tried Charlie's and figure we'd give it a shot. We ate and were out before the lunch crowd. Cashier seemed to be nice and straightforward. Food was good and hot. I'll visit again to try a different variety of cheese steak.
