Jake Cavender, owner of Cavco Canvas South in Atlantic Beach, FL, made a custom cover for my boat five years ago. It’s been excellent, surviving multiple storms in that time without incident. Recently I noticed an area that showed stress at one of the tie-down points. I phoned Jake and made an appointment to bring the cover to him. Jake sewed a patch to relieve the pressure point. It took less time than to write this! That is excellent service after the sale…WAAAYY after the sale! Thanks, Jake. Gayle Oller Amelia Island

Amazing Work!! Returned my phone calls, on time start and completion with excellent results. We wanted a custom Dodger/Bimini Enclosure for our new sailboat. John took down our requirements and wishes and made it happen! Better than we could have imagined. Will be back if I get another boat!!
What an amazing class he provides! Looking to learn to make boat canvas call John you will not be disappointed!! Great teacher he's to the point doesn't drag it out and makes it fun! I took his class and purchased his video package and 3 months in I'm excited to see what this is in 3 years. Don't hesitate to get started and dobt worry every thing he says is spot on and true!
BCU was a great learning tool to get started in my boat canvas business. John was a great teacher and his attention to detail was awesome. He could look across the room and see that you were messing up before you had the time to do so. John is very inspirational in this business and makes you want to jump right in head first. I can’t wait to get started!
Excellent shop with great service. If you have any canvas issues for repair or new, Jake Cavender is your guy.
