During my transition, Joy has been a pleasure to talk to and I couldn't have asked for better. She not only provided an in-depth explanation and extensive detail, but also included resources and important advice throughout. I am grateful, blessings.
I was very anxious because I needed to develop a cover letter and a resume asap. I was able to walk in on short notice, and Barry Harvard was able to help answer all of my questions. He was very friendly and he helped me develop professional material. Thanks to Mr. Harvard, I was able to swiftly respond to a contact offering me an internship with my resume and cover letter that he asked for.
Went in there last week hoping they were going to help my friend find a job all they did was stick him on a computer. I can find a computer at the library. No tips for getting hired no help with resumes, if this is funded by the government might as well close it down no help at all. Another waste of taxpayers money!!! CareerSource contacted me and arrange for my friend to come back up there to work with him on finding a new career. I changed my rating to a 4 instead of a 1.
I was somewhat hesitant going into my appointment at CareerSouce Northeast. To my surprise it was a wonderful experience. My coach, Cheryl Keyes, was friendly and positive. Giving me encouragement , information and direction. Thank you for this resource. Sincerely, Janis Robertson
