Cap'n Odies

It was a great time at Capt. Odies this weekend. The atmosphere was phenomenal, the mixed drinks were exceptional, and the bartender Megan was friendly and funny. Great atmosphere for a relaxed chill bar scene and an awesome bartender and bar back!

My friends and I stopped in and were greeted rudely. I was the only one carded in my group.👀 We asked for our drinks to be remade and an employee who was at the bar drinking with a guy got super offensive and started yelling at my friend about how they don’t remake drinks and that the bartender been in there her whole life. We didn’t even know who she was, let alone that she worked there. Wasted money on a cup of sour with no alcohol but we left quickly and went to spend money where we were wanted.

I was stationed in the area while in the Navy over 30 years ago. I spent many evenings in Cap'n Odies Bar back then. It was a dive bar, but it was our dive bar. I was excited years back when I saw it on the show Bar Rescue. Recently I was in the area and saw Cap'n Odies and had to stop in to see it's transformation from the show and have a drink. When I entered it was very dark. Looks like everything was painted over. The bar looked worse then it did 30+ years ago. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. It was around 11am. There was a couple regulars at the bar. I stayed for a drink to toast the memories and left.

Megan is the best! She’s very professional and courteous. She’s always on her game and keeps drinks full. She’s super pretty too:) love this place!
