Café Del Hidalgo- Ice Cream, Food, And Drink

I love mom & pops businesses. They are the soul of a charming town. Large Corporate plazas and malls with chain establishments are soulless and part of systematic consumrism. During the christmas lighting event it was extremely crowded, like a can of sardines. Im talking less than a foot of personal space. Anyway, everything looked homemade. Unfortunately I don't like American or Italian ice cream. Its just way too sweet. My kids enjoyed though. Licked up every drop.

Incredible little coffee joint! Arguably one of the best coffees I've ever had. Really enjoyed the inside and they looked like they had many good food options. Staff was kind and attentive. I went back for a second coffee 🫣

"Cuban sandwich". Photo says it all... The strawberry crepe with chocolate 3 strawberry slices and tasted like flour. Returned food and they said bothering and just took it back, like it's common.

Our original lunch plan fell through so we roamed around and found Cafe del Hidalgo. The men working were so kind and the food was delicious! Can’t believe they have such great coffee and gelato options on top of the sandwiches our group got. You could taste how fresh the ingredients were! My little one loved the grilled cheese—and I loved that he could only eat half of it so that I could have the other half :)
